Opportunity Summary: 

The company proposes to establish and operate a state-of-the-art agroprocessing facility to process specialty beef products for both domestic and international consumers as the first operating segment, and manufacture of animal nutrition products for local and regional markets, as the second operating segment. The value anticipated from the proposed project includes creating decent earning opportinuties for 100,000+ smallholder livestock farmers in Uganda, direct employment to 200+ professionals – managers, accountants, veterinarians, logistics, environmentalists, lawyers and others.  

 

Hardscreen Logistics Ltd.

Country:       Uganda
Sector:          Infrastructure. 

Products:     Public roads, bridges, and agricultural parks.

Location:      Uganda.

Opportunity Summary: 

The company will construct 6 bridges, an aquaculture park, and feeder roads to facilitate access to market for smallholder farmers in Northern and Western Uganda. The company will be carrying out these infrastructure development works in partnership with Government of Uganda, which shall pay for the works performed. The company has already entered into three contractual agreements with the Government of Uganda, to the tune of US$5,300,000. The value anticipated from the completion of the proposed projects includes creating better market access opportunities for 1,0000,000+ smallholder farmers in Northern and Western Uganda, and direct employment to benefit 50+ construction and administrative workers.
